Uttar Pradesh Pollution Control Board (UPPCB) has announced recruitment for 40 posts of Assistant Environmental Engineer and Assistant Scientific Officer, with online applications from 28th Feb 2026 (11:00 AM onwards) to 28th March 2026 (upto 06:00 PM). - 14 Posts of Assistant Scientific Officer
According to the information released by the Commission, the recruitment process will be entirely online. A total of 40 posts in various technical and support categories will be filled under this recruitment

Education Qualification
(a) For the post of Assistant Environmental Engineer -
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering/Chemical Technology/Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto. (Any equivalent qualification shall include a qualified Associate Member of the Institute of Engineers India (AMIE) in Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering branch.)
(b) For the post of Assistant Scientific Officer -
A Doctorate in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto with three years of experience in the field of Environment/Pollution Control/Public Health,
OR
A Master's Degree in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry from a University established by law in India or a qualification recognized by the Government as equivalent thereto with five year of experience in the field of Environment/Pollution Control/Public Health. (A Doctorate in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry or a Master's degree in Chemistry/Zoology/Botany/Biochemistry from a University/Deemed University or Institute established by law by the Central or State Government under any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto)
